Works well.
"Although the belt is way too long for my receptacle, it serves its purpose in heating my kombucha too the desired even temperature."

Our 30w Heating belts will gently warm without creating major hot spots on your fermenter.
We've chosen to go belts over pads for the simplicity of adjusting the height of the belt on your fermenter to increase or decrease the heat transfer. With a pad, you're unable to do this, and may potentially cook your yeast turning your hard work into a giant bandaid.
We highly recommend using our belt with our MKII - Temperature Controller for precise temperature control. If you're fermenting in a fridge, you can also use the MKII's cooling function as well to control both the belt and the fridge.
Note: does not include fermenter, x1 belt per unit (AU Plug)

Customers appreciate the 30 Watt FERMENTER Heating Belt for its effective heat, precise temperature control, and great value for money. It's designed for easy height adjustment to manage heat transfer, preventing yeast damage. Ideal for use with the MKII Temperature Controller for optimal fermentation results.

"Excellent! I don't use these belts for brewing haha, but for keeping my sensitive tropical plants warm during cold melb weather. And, honestly, they work so well, just wrap around the bottom of the pot - much easier for large plants than heatmats. Thank you! :)"
"Great item, works well on my 58 litre kegmenters. Great price too"
"Connected to a rapt temperature controller to keep my mead warm in the shed in the chilly Melbourne autumn. Will see how it does in the winter. Easy to wrap around even the small 1 gallon bottles."
"Works exactly as described. Beer had ‘gone to sleep’ from being too cold. Now up to correct temperature and fermentation has recommenced. Hoping this turns out to be an outstanding brew."
"Didn't really like how hot it got in one band on my fermenter, much prefer the heating pad"
"very good but i will need a thermostat"
"Used it for a few night now, and it certainly cranks out the heat. Without wrapping it got the plastic 4litre pet bottle up to 30 degrees! After that, I put a nice thick layer of towels around the bottle to moderate the heat. At full length it could go around a couple of 4l pet bottles."
"A must when you live in a colder climate."
"A bit fiddly but if you use an elastic band to lock it in place it works well"
