When using a duotight Ball Lock Disconnect you will be adding 50mm.
When using a duotight Flow Control Ball Lock Disconnect you will be adding 70mm.
We also sell the KL06972 - Low Profile Tapping head as a great alternative if you are trying to fit this product into a cooler/esky and you need to reduce the height. As you can see below the low profile model greatly reduces the height:
