Make a really small and useful keg system out of PET plastic bottles.  Great for taking beer to a party or making your own micro/portable/mini keg system.

Note: This is for the tee piece only.  You need to BYO soda bottle, carbonation caps and dip tube.

PET bottles are redily available and inexpensive.  The standard thread for PET bottles for carbonated beverates between 0-3L in size is the PCO 1881 thread.  This thread type suits our carbonation caps that you can buy in plastic here or stainless here.

Historically you would only be able to place a black or grey ball lock disconnect onto thse fittings one at a time.  This tee piece now enables you to attach both a liquid and gas disconnect to the bottle at the same time so you can essencially use a common PET bottle as a keg.  This product is exclusively manufactured by KegLand.

NOTE: The PET soft drink bottles and carbonation caps sold separately.

Below is a video by Martin Keen who has a great YouTube channel called "The Homebrew Challenge". He shows how you can use a PCO 1881 Carbonation Cap Tee Piece with two Carbonation Caps to transfer and serve from a Soda Bottle.

My beer is not flat now

"I made a new 20 litre batch of Coopers pale ale, and bottled into 500ml amber flip top beer bottles. I carbonated with sugar in the bottles, however every bottle was flat. What a disappointment, I checked all the seals on the bottles and they are still good and leak proof. Well, I wasn't going to waste 20 litres of good tasting beer albeit flat. Then I saw a video from KegLand on YouTube about carbonating hard soda with a cheap affordable set up. So this is what I got and it works great and my beer has been saved and tastes nicely carbonated."
