Unfortunately the Black Rock Bock Beer Kit has been discontinued. Other great dark beer alternatives are the Black Rock Miners Stout, Black Rock Classic Porter or Black Rock Crafted Oatmeal Stout. Or give your own recipe a go using the Black Rock Unhopped Dark Malt Extract.

A dark malty German style bock, brewed with four specialty malts to produce a complex, full flavoured dark beer.

Brew with 1kg Beer Enhancer 3 to boost malt flavour, body and mouthfeel. For even more body, colour and malt flavour use 1.7kg Black Rock Unhopped Amber Malt Extract or 1.7kg Unhopped Dark Malt Extract instead of beer enhancer.

Dry yeast sachet located under the cap and detailed brewing instructions are provided on the back of the tin.

Costly, time-consuming all grain processes are not necessary to create quality craft wort at home. Discerning home brewers are always looking to improve their brewing techniques and beer quality. With this in mind, the master brewers at Black Rock have expertly brewed the highest quality fresh wort in a state-of-the-art Krones brewery, using only the finest fresh NZ malt before gently evaporating to 80 brix for your convenience.

Black rock bock

"Love the product and the Legoland mob But the postage time hopeless"

Great Flavour But. . .

"This was a great addition to my stout experiments, as usual brew shorter. Strange part of this is that there is a pronounced astringency when you leave the bottles for longer than 2 months. It's not a spoiled taste and isn't bad but something to take note of."

Is “Bock” is good..

"First Bock probably as it’s the first one I’ve found. Quite tasty and a lovely creamy head. ABV 6.2% Brewed only 19 litres (for obvious reasons) with 1.2 Kg of Light Dry Malt and using the kit yeast. Will definitely go again with the addition of choc malt and using different yeast. It can only get better..😎🍺"
