KL08846
English ale yeast selected for its fast fermentation character and its ability to form a compact sediment at the end of fermentation, helping to improve beer clarity.
Recommended for the production of a large range of ales and specially adapted to cask-conditioned ones and fermentation in cylindo-conical tanks.
Fermentation: ideally 15-20°C (59-68°F)
Shelf Life
Refer to best before end date printed on the sachet.
Opened sachets must be sealed and stored at 4°C (39°F) and used within 7 days of opening.
Do not use soft or damaged sachets.
To ensure a healthy fermentation it is a good idea to incorporate some yeast nutrient in your brewing. You can purchase some here.
The benefits of using yeast nutrient are described in the pdf and video below:

"Great yeast which worked really well with my latest stout"
"Has never failed to do its thing"
"My favourite part about this yeast is it works well at 24°C. The afternoons get warm in my west-facing apartment! I've successfully brewed a Milk Stout with it, I'm about to do an Irish Red Ale with it, and it will be my yeast of choice for the majority of dark and Old World (English) style beers going forward."
"I like beer. And without this yeast I would just have a big bottle of expensive cordial. So I am happy"
"Long expiry date"
