This allows the BrewZilla Gen 4 to directly measure and adjust the temperature of the mash directly from the malt pipe, in real time!

Distilling with the RAPT Bluetooth Thermometer
The RAPT Bluetooth Thermometer is also an ideal accessory for distillers (when paired with a RAPT Temperature Controller or another compatible RAPT Bluetooth device. This allows you to (for example) set up temperature alerts, or remotely monitor the still head temperature during a run. Logging data through the RAPT cloud also allows you to easily keep detailed distillation run logs without needing to write anything down.

NOTE: The probe is waterproof. The body of the RAPT Bluetooth Thermometer is not water resistant. Liquid ingress in the housing can make the display difficult to read or affect temperature accuracy.

Solid, but needs keep-awake and direct app integration
"Works well - responsive and appears accurate. The long probe and cable are good. I have two complaints though. 1. It shuts off after a while (1 hour?), presumably to save battery, but this triggers even when it's in use. It would be good if the Brewzilla controller could send a "keep awake" signal to the thermometer. 2. It can't be added to the RAPT app directly. It's a nice thermometer. I'd like to use it for cooking, or for other brewing activities that don't involve the Brewzilla."

"Turned on Brewzilla went to settings and bonded it. Then went to display so the DEG showed up on the Brewzilla Computer. Its was childs play. Tested the thermometer by boiling water and chucking it in to see what it read and it was bang on to my other calibrated thermometer! Well done Kegland"

Would not want to brew without it
"This is a fantastic bit of kit that I would not want to brew without. Be careful with moisture as I don't think they like it. This was purchased as a spare as during a brew I had a little trouble with my existing thermometer. I think a few drips of wort landed on it. It started reading incorrect temperatures. After drying out, its fine again, but I decided to buy this spare as would not want to lose the control of the mash temp during a future brew."
