We also sell compatible cylinders with this device that you can purchase here, these are much easier to fill due to their softer pin mechanism. Brand New Sodastream branded bottles can be tedious to fill. We highly recommend using our KegLand Branded Sodastream compatible CO2 cylinders to refill.

KegLand does not recommend using other branded CO2 cylinders to refill SodaStream compatible cylinders, as we cannot guarantee it will work. We recommend using KegLand branded cylinders 2.6kg CO2 Cylinder and6.0kg CO2 Cylinders.

NOTE: The CO2 Cylinder or Sodastream cylinder in the photos is not included.  We do sell our own Sodastream cylinder alternative. These are compatible with SodaStream machines and also come full of gas.  So they are quite good value.  They are also much easier to fill than the Sodastream branded cylinders.  You can purchase these here.

INSTRUCTIONS:
This product is fairly easy to use and the main thing is just to watch the video as this explains how to use this product.

In particular please see the image below as it's important:

1. The seals go in the correct location.  So when the SodaStream filling adaptor arrives to you please make sure to use the correct seal on the correct side.  (We do also sell a seal kit for this product that you can purchase here.)

2. Please make sure to put the Sodastream cylinder on the correct side.  The SodaStream cylinder thread can actually fit both sides of this adaptor, but the CO2 cylinder only fits into the ROUND SIDE.  As a result, you MUST put the Sodastream cylinder into the HEXAGONAL SIDE. (as shown in image below)

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS: It's difficult to fill a cylinder that already contains gas.  So wait until you empty the Sodastream Cylinder before attempting to refill it. It is important to refill the bottle only when completely empty. Avoid over-filling by weighing the bottle before and after refilling.

Quick and efficient almost great

"Good little contraption. The local supermarket was out of refills, so I expressed this, and a few other pieces, and now I can fill a Sodastream bottle for a fraction of the price. The one con of this device is that cylinders are designed to hold a certain volume, by filling like this (without a hose) you cannot weigh the cylinder at the same time to ensure you do not overfill. But, for the price, and ease of use, pretty decent little buy."

Hi, i have just acquired a smeg soda maker and the supplier of the co2 bottles via subscription has sent me 4 bottles. These seem to be running out of CO2 very quickly. They told me that each bottle should provide approx 30 lites of fizzy water as per SMEGs operational instructions. I only get 14 litres? When the bottles is empty it weighs 774g, a full one weighs 1175g. How much can these bottle take? 600g? 800g? I noted that you recommend the chilling of the soda bottle prior to filling. I didnt know this, i wonder if the supplier is chilling the bottles? It’s turning out very expensive £40 for 4 bottles and at present i only get 14 one litre bottles fizzed…….. What could the supplier be doing wrong????
